Another day....nother dollar
 

Well as i set here getting the morning coffee, waiting to waste another day sitting in the jail, playing on the forum, i cant help but day dream. Since there seem to be many like myself that post while "Working". i know i do alot of day dreaming... So lets hear some stories... Favorite Hunts or Hunts you want to take...Memories of the out doors, or just plain day dreaming about whitetail and your bow....Man we got to get a life.:D;)

To be honest......I've got 3 playing in MY mind, right now:

1- Those KS bowhunting turkey pics Rob put up have me looking forward to next year...when I join them for that trip.

2- My opening day of turkey season is THIS Saturday. I've been playing out scenarios in my mind for this day for a LONG time. I can't wait (though I'll HAVE to!)

3- Rob and his wife Jenny are coming to visit on 4/19. The girls will have some time to shop.....drink some wine....and visit....and I'll have a good friend here to share some turkey stories with. Hopefully we'll have some photos to share with the forum.

So here is mine...."The one that Got away"...

Sitting on my chair in a cold january morning,(cause i was to lazy to bring my stand)trying to fill the rest of the years tag. I am sitting nicley by a very warn out deer trail, just trying to hope for a passing doe. Slipping in and out of sleep mode i finally hear some leaves trampled in the distance. Some what awake now i notice a beautiful collor of tan standing about 60 yards from me fixing to step on the trail. Beautiful large Doe coming down the path right into my hands. So i set there and watch as she gets closer, wind to my face she has know idea i am there. The doe i am so ready to shoot does not want to give me a shot, she is heading straight towards me. after about 30 minutes of this i find the deer, standing less then 5 yards in front of me. She still stand directly in front of me finally starts to quarter, i finally get a chance to raise and start drawing my bow......And some LADY on a d@#$ nature walk decides that the area of public land, and this praticular trail looks like a good place to walk her big butt down, with a loud mouth skinny friend...Needless to say i wanted to hang her on my wall after that .... just grin and bite ur tounge i guess.AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Since I as well have nothing to do at work but get on the net and check things out, I find myself daydreaming quite a bit. I have made a decision that within the next 5 years I want to take all four subspecies of turkeys here in the US and I want to go on a black bear hunt. I would love for all of this to be do-it-yourself hunts, but that really starts to make things tough. I will just wait and see I guess.
