Ground blind hunting

RE: Ground blind hunting
Should be no problems with the mesh but practice, practice, practice - shooting through the mesh. It's worth a set or replacement windows if need be.
I usually pick one window I plan on not using and shoot through it several times so I don't need to buy replacements for awhile.
Shooting from inside a blind, especially the Doghouse will be a very different experience at first and it will be more of a mind game than anything. You have to get used to drawing inside a confined space and then aiming through the mesh.
I was all over the place the first time I tried shooting out of a blind and it had nothing to do with my setup. All me and what was going on in my head.
Besides brushing in, my biggest tips would be to wear black or dark camo to match the interior of the blind and also leave as few windows open as possible. You can be "skylined" in a blind too if you're not careful. Have a buddy or kidsit in the blind when you have the windows open the way you want and do a 360 around it to see what the deer will see from varying distances.
Good luck and have fun. I have a DogHouse and Big Game Escape. The DogHouse tucks into cover a lot more nicely but I like the room of the latter and the ability to bring someone with me to participate in the hunt.
