I gotta say I am pretty darn lucky because my wife doesn't say a thing about any of the equipment I get. She loves the fact that I have fallen in love with the sport and knows that I am not doing worse things!!

I have a very understanding wife when it comes to my archery habit.
But then again, I don't go crazy either and buy everything I could.
We have a home and 2 children that come first. She knows that I put them first and I'll use good judgement when it comes to spending the $.
HOWEVER, when it comes to her wanting a new pistol or deer rifle, I can spend all the $ on her I want.
It just makes sense to her.

My wife spends more time in the bowshop then I do . My work doesn't allow me to get there during the store's open hours for the most part from spring through fall. She runs for me to pick up things I need. She has beenvery good at supporting my bowhuntingaddiction. Heck, I generally will walk out with more stuff then intended if she is with me when I do get to town.

Now that Cabelas has jewlry, she doesn't even mind going there.Hunting supply runscan get darn expensive now. D@mned Cabelas !!! [&:]

We are not made of money but not hurting.WE discussevery major huntingpurchase just as we do every major purchase. That's been working for over twenty years now. Idon't seeany reason to change it by hiding anything from her.

I recently switched to a Cabelas credit card that I use to buy supplies and materials for my business. I pay the balance each month, so there are no finance charges and I get Cabelas credit for 1% of my purchases. This will likely work out to $300 or more a year in free gear from Cabelas: not too shabby!

Yep. I let a redhead get ahold of me too. There have been a few times over the past29 years when I had to go into the 'duck and cover' routine.

My girlfriend (who wants the wife job) shoots a bow as well.

When I buy some new archery toy, she just asks what it does and if she should get anything else to maximise her set up. Then she gives me a kiss and we go shoot, or go fishing, or whatever.....

Thats why she'll probably get the wife job!

I don't know whether I should be upset or flattered that there are guys out there who respect the red hair!!! All I can say is it's about time!!!!
