Im planning on using a G5 small game head to try a head shot on a turkey if I have the opertunity for one this year. If not it will be a super sharp G5 Striker on body shots.

RE: Judo points for turkeys?

Had a buddy last year grab the wrong arrow in his quiver to shoot a turkey with. It was tipped with a judo point. It did kill the bird granted it was a 20 yard shot but it dropped the bird in its tracks. he hit the bird in the back and pretty much demolished the spine. Before I get all kinds of hate speech on this,it was purely accidental and i dont believe the out come would have been the same if it were a broadside shot. Needless to say after the a$$ chewing I gave him for the mix up I am sure it wont happen again.

Judo points will bounce off a turkey but may do wounding damage which will leave the bird unrecoverable, I say this with experience when I was a young teenager.
Robs right. Also don't shoot groundhogs with them, I learned that the hard way. They take your $10 arrow down their hole and you then spend 4 hrs digging up the hole to recover a broken arrow.

Yes, curious on how old you are? It might help me understand your questions.
