Anything with my bow is better than shooting one with my gun. I'll take the 150 also.

I'd rather see the 150 through my bow sight at 25yds, than the 180 through my scope at 150yds. I'm not knocking guns, I have multiple. Getting close is what counts for me. I think it's more of a challange.

Well ya see, you're assuming that 150 or 180 means something to us. I don't measure deer. I just weigh them.... sometimes. I don't care if I ever shoot another deer with a gun. But I'd shoot a doe in a heart beat with my bow. I surely wouldn't worry about a few inches of horn. I'm a bow hunter. I'll shoot what I want and can and don't concern myself with what might have been if I'd had a gun. I'd rather shoot your 150 with a bow than a 220 with a gun. I just live to bowhunt. I don't care what the score is.

Tell you the truth, he doesn't even have to be 150 and I'll take him over a 180 with a gun.My dinky 50 inch 6 pointer took more effort, energy, resources, planning, etc. etc. than my 143 inch9 pointer hanging on my wall by way of .270 Remington.

As long as he is 2.5 yrs old I'd feel more of a sense of accomplishment than taking his 180 class father with a long range missle.

Both... might as well be greedy.

My biggest buck is with bow although not a 180. I ambushed him at 12 yards. Scouting payed off.

My biggest rifle buckwas shotabout 20 yards after a 3/4 - 1 mile stalk. Tyler was with me every step of the way.

Which am I more proud of ?? Hard to say as both were great hunts for different reasons. The weapon didn't make the hunt since both bucks would have died with either... the hunt itself always is the most important. I like to hunt and I likegetting close no matter the weapon. While I enjoy bowhunting more then rifle hunting...the hunt is what matters the most to me.

I would be happy making the minimum 125 with my bow, for a Typical Pope and Young Whitetail.

I would have to say the 150 with a bow. I'm a bowhunter at heart, and gun hunt to spend time with friends. Although to see either would be nice.
