Default What Bow Weight Do You Use?

I am just curious to see what weight you use? And to find out how much I should use. What is the least amount you could use to to kill a deer.

I often have several bows and they are all set the same. Enough to kill anything on this continent, be it rubber or flesh. 60#

I keep mine between 65 and 70, but you don't really need that much normally.

Currently I have my bow set at 63. I assume you are a young hunter, and when I started 4 years ago I shot 45. I took a buck that year, arrow didn't pass through, but lodged in the opposite shoulder. Enough to take him down in less than 50 yards. I would say not to go lower than 45, and shot placement is critical.

Shots that are True....Pass right Through!!!

I have my FX set at 67#. Mainly because I want the extra punch for elk and I don't want to tinker with my draw weight when switching between deer and elk.
