I know, but there's almost now visible clearance between the two pieces of moleskin. Maybe that won't make that much difference, but I don't like the looks of it.

Do you have a "back up" rest? If so, try that. I would take it to abow shop and have them "fine" tune it, if nothing else is seeming to correct your broadhead problem.

Follow my link, it offers a lot of good tuning advice. To check to see if your vanes are hitting the rest, spray some foot powder on the prongs,it the vanes are hitting it you will be able to tell.

I have the same opinion as johnnydialtone.

If you didn't spin check your bh's , YOU NEED TO.
Even the best tuned bow can't group bh's if your heads are crooked.
Get a bh spinner and tune your arrows. The fact that you had erratic flight at different distances and there was no apparent pattern would tell me the heads are not straight on the shaft.
Once you make sure of that , then you can go to the bow tuning process.
I'm sure that both are needed.

Archer58 hit it right on the head. Spin your arrows with the broadheads.Draw a dot on a wall, and spin them on the jig. Also be sure to spin the nock end as well. The nocks could be off just as easily. If either end wobbles outside the dot you'll notice it immediately. Mark any find, and set them aside. Then try shooting only the ones that spin perfectly. If all are ok, move onto the bow for errors.
