Hey guys, i am thinking on buying my brother a Martin Cheetah for his birthday next week. It's going to be a surprise, so he wont be able to shoot it.
I just wanted to know if any of you guys have one, or have any information on how it shoots/ etc. any input would be great. thanks |
RE: martin
If you don't get a lot of feedback here you can check the AT forums. Lots or Martin guys/gals over there.

RE: martin
Martins are good bows, I likethem. I've never shot the cheetah though

RE: martin
Why not just give him a paper that says new bow your choice. Then take him out and let him shoot a few so you can be sure he gets the bow that's right for him. A bow is a pesonal choice and IMO needs to be shot by the person who is gonna own it prior to the purchase. JMHO

RE: martin
Between me and two of my cousins we own the
New Martin PANTERA BENGAL AND CHEETAH They are all very nice bows and he will be happy with it. The Pantera is VERY accurate and stable The Bengal is nice sized, easy to handle, and a little faster The Cheetah is nice and compact, fast, and has very nice feeling and handling. I am sure he will be happy but i would recomend YOU shooting them to see which one you like best |
RE: martin
I have a 2000 Martin Jagaur and it gets the job done. Its also unbelievebly quiet. Somtimes I think of getting a new bow but I cant think of 1 bad thing to put up against my Jaguar. I got it second hand 2 years ago for $200 bucks. Couldnt be happier:D
