Here's a routine question for ya....

I bought myself a T2 and realized I now need a mechanical head that is mesh compatible.....I shoot Hammerheads now, but the big "L" arms will cause a problem. SO, I am looking for a 100gr. mechanical w/ at least a 1 1/2" cutting diameter, and am open to suggestions....

Geez, I almost sound like a newbie to this....[&:]

i personally like the looks and concept of the Rage's, I plan on using them next season on deer.

I didn't think any mechs were mesh compatible. I would definately try a head that opens like a snyper or rage as it seems that it would be less likely to open on the way through.

If you are after Turkeys, do away with the netting and use your Hammerheads. From what I have seen on the Double Bull Video and TV you don't need to use netting with Turkey. Just wear black clothing.

But you do need it with deer.

John, you are 100% correct.....There's only one problem....The front window on the T2 has the mesh sewn in, you can't remove it. The shooting ports are open, no mesh with them, but the window covers are camo, not black, so the when you open the window it doesn't go from black to black, they will see you open the window. SOoooooo, I am gonna net the shooting ports as well, so I can open the window w/ out detection.....

The short of it is.....I gotta shoot through mesh.....I'm not getting rid of the hammerhead though, I love those things.....I'll shoot them at deer this fall.

Hmmmmm......The sledgehammer is a 3 1/2" cut and will work through mesh......BUT, it's 125 grains.....I wonder how much difference 25 grains heavier would make at a range of less than 20 yards........

I personaly wouldnt use mechanicals threw mesh, but they say as long as they arent L shaped you should be alright. That pretty much narrows your choices down to the rear deploying heads. Rocky mountain snypers, rage slip cams, G5 tekan, and I think there might be a couple others.

You shoulda bought the Matrix!!

I don't think 25 grains will make much diff at all at 25 yds from your bow.

i'd go with gobbler gullotines[8D]...ha no, i love g5 broadheads so i would check out the Tekan 2. They come in 100grain and i'm pretty sure they are mesh compatible, and if not, better than the guillotines will be:D
