If you killed aBig B&C buck and someone offered you a good amount of money and a replica, would you sell your deer?
Just curious

back in 89 i was offered $5k for my firearms b&c, I was 16 at the time, i told him no, flat out no. just seemed like the wrong thing to do, disrespectful. I'm proud of that decision, money isnt everything.
now if someone were to offer a ridiculous amount, say 6 figures, that would be something i couldnt turn down, i could do alot of good with that kind of dough.

If it was big enough to attact some offers I would sell the replicas. I think a typical booner will only bring in the $1,500-$2,500 range and non-typical is about twice that. There's an article in North American Whitetail that gives a more exact amount, but I remember it saying the actual worth of big mounts is not as much as most hunters think. If you want to sell your mount that's your business, but a buck of a life time is worth more than a couple a grande to me. If some said I'll give $100,000 grande for your buck, I would most likely change my mind about selling.
