Blind Hunters.....practice tip......

I'm not the most experienced blind hunter by a LONG shot......but I watched another year on the grond V the other night.....and practiced out of my matrix, last night.

I noticed the DB guys don't open the windows on their hunts very wide. I also noticed a guy shoot and hit the blind with his arrow on one of their hunts. I've said it before......THE most important thing (in MY opinion) to blind hunting is getting a chair that is the proper height FOR YOU. Nevermind what's the most comfortable or the most popular......if it's not the right height......you're going to have to contort to get that shot off. Lisa and I picked up a little collaspsible stool at a PGA event that is PERFECT, for ME. I shot 12 shots out of the DB, las night......and I can't express enough how impotant this is.

Just don't wait until your opener to find out your blind chair is the wrong height for you. I want to see the photos of your birds and deer!

Good luck, guys (and gals).

RE: Blind Hunters.....practice tip......

Good tip, I figured this out last year. I got a pair of them that actually are right height and fold up small enough to fit in the blind bag with me. This is what Jaws and I use out of my blind. They have backs on them and were around $12 each if I remember correctly, I got them from Gander Mountain.

Edit, they may be too comfortable, I nap in that blind frequently.....[8D]
