17 in the past two seasons

In my life, I'm not sure of that number but I plan on keeping a better count and more thorough field journal in the future(I already have started doing this a little).

My good hunting buddy, MDS184, just started and this was his second season, the first season he hunted with me he killed his first deer(doe) and then his first buck about a week later, this year he killed 10 deer including a nice 7 with his blackpowder and a decent9 with his shotgun. We got some great places to hunt and he is a quick study. Now it is time for the turkeys.

2 with a muzzleloader.
1 with a rifle.

Grand Total: 25:D

Can't tell you guys how impressed I am with a LOT of these answers.

KUDOS!...and RESPECT!

There's still one that I'm MOST impressed by, so far, and that takes NOTHING away from ANYONE'S accomplishments. I just like to give credit where it's due:

If you guys will remember a thread a few months back......we found out that Rybo hasn't ever missed OR lost a whitetail. I'll say it again....that's the most impressive thing I've EVER heard in bowhunting. Rybo, buddy......that's AWESOME!

To you guys over 50 (kills)......keep sharing what you're doing with us. MUCH repsect!

I fall into the category of "new" whitetail hunter (with any weapon). I must say.....the equipment....the technology....the abundance of information available.....AND the experience in this forum have helped me tremendously.

Thanks to all of you who've helped. All my bowkills (5) get an HNI footnote.;)

Heck I didn't even post my gun kills. But that would be under 10. So I'll change mine to 55 total.I really don't enjoy deer hunting with a gun.

36 without a miss is pretty awesome. I sure would like to have some of the shots back on bucks I have missed. They keep me awake at night!!!

Many more chances with a gun, but I suck with a firearm for some reason.
