I will tell ya how I find him, my brother an I went down an listened for turkeys about daybreak heard about five or six, none close. We checked all the places that I had been seeing bucks didn't find any sheds. We rode the atv through the bottoms back up towards thepower line. We were riding along a ridge an came up on a backbone an rib cage.I looked back where the trail came across the creek an could see the antlers sticking up. I think he came off the lease next to ours but, I am sure he had been there a time or two.
I did not put a tape on him but I think he is about 14 1/2" wide anhe didn't have his milking teeth, so I know he was older than 2 1/2 the way the dentine an wear looked.I would say that hewas around 3 1/2 just my guess. He also still had the hair an skin around the bases. I think hemay havedied around earlyJan or so, ya might have an idea about that, thatisjust my thought, I was hunting not 400 yards from there never did seethat deer.My brother has the antlers he is going to get it scored at an archery shop down the road, be a little while before I know the score, will let ya know.

I would have been sick losing that one!!! Beautiful buck though, atleast he'll be on someone's wall.

Thats a nice rack that sucks that the person that shoot that buck could not find him.

Those that ask for the score on this head, the bow shop down road where they havea big buck contest every year, said that the deer was right at 125.I have no other details.

yeah but you gotta have it actually scored to find the real score...a guestimate doesn't always work. Anyways I'm saying right around 131ish.

Ya, I thought that was what he was going to do, but it didn't happen. I would like to know thenumber myself.
