RE: I Got It!!!!
My boy just joined the Army, and I'm going to see him before basic training. I'll be hunting just south of Oklahoma City and just North of Ardmore. I'll be staying in Madill. I sure hope I have time to get in a hunt while I'm there. I should add I'm sure proud of my boy for going in the military at 18 years old! He sure has grown up these last couple of years!

What kind of groups are you shooting? If you just got this set up and your going to be hunting pigs I hope you've been doing some homework and shooting your bow. Also what size porkers are you going to be hunting?
Anything about a 150 pound boar will have a shield of grizzle/armour that they build up by rubbing a tree line, they usually have nice size tuskers but usually can only be used for sauauge and you got to be patient and wait for a quarter away shot. The hogs under about 100 pounds are better eating on the bar be que depending on what they been eating.
Get your act together, bring some sandand good luck, with your equipment you got, if you can't hunt good, at least you can play the part and look good.
