The Truth
 

I am looking at buying my first bow. I have really fell in love with the Fred Bear Truth. Has anybod heard anything about it, or used it?

I bought the FB Instinct about 3 weeks ago and love it. The Truth was a little out of my price range, but shot it anyways and can tell you it is the real deal. Fred Bear makes a hell of a bow for the price, and can assure you this would be a purchase you won't regret.

The reviews on here seem to be very good for the Truth, so that may be a bow that I would look closely at. The biggest thing is how it feels to you. Shoot many, and pick the one in your price range that just jumps into the right spot in your hand and settles out easily (i.e., the grip-hand relationship is extremely important). If several feel good in your price range, then go with the one with the quietest shot. Every bow manufacturer is making a quality product that will harvest most animals on the planet cleanly, so brand name and advertising hype should be ignored for the most part.

THE TRUTH IS A VERY GOOD BOW WITH A REAL FAIR PRICE!! I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER HEARD ANYTHING BAD ABOUT A FRED BEAR BOW!!!

I shot it but i thought it was kind of loud. then i shot a martin cougar3 which was a little slower but alot quiter and alot more accurate. so i bought the martin no regrets
