2007 Deer Hunting Contest Question

How does the contest work? I joined in the fall of last year and don't understand the teams, rules, etc. How do you get on a team or do they stay the same every year?

There will be a sign up period end of July or early August if Rob decides to run it again this year. He hasn't been to happy lately. The only team to carry over from last year is the winning team.
