Drenalin Dressed to Kill

Well I'm finally done dressing her up and ready to show her off. She's dialed in out to 40 yards and dead on!

That looks nice, what is the ATA on that bow?

33 inches give or take. Very forgiving for the length.

Very nice looking rig, Ken. ;) Can you comment a little about the Vital Gear sight? I am not that familiar with them and looking for a new sight for my Switchback. How durable, and are the pins free of loose or hanging fiber that might get snagged in thick terrain? Thanks and best of luck this season.

I feel sorry for any fur that wanders within 40 of that beast. Good luck!

ken catch, what bow case is that you have pictured there. it looks really nice! I need to replace mine since it doesnt hold all my acc. and has nothing for the broad heads. yours looks like it has a barier between the bow and the cases hinges? how well does the thing work?

The VG sight is machined Aluminum. The pins are .019 and well protected. The fibers come out of the pin and exit the housing immediatley wrapping around the rear ring(green plastic piece) Not much to snag on except a very small loop in the pin housing. It captures a lot of light and transfers it well to the pins even in very low light. The model name has slipped my mind at this time and did not see it on their website.

Grave Diggers and Trykonoisseur
I tried Hoyt's Vectrix, PSE Mach ?, and Matthews Switchack XT before deciding on the Drenalin. I'm one of those guys who buys top end equipment for all of my hobbies. You ought to see my Fishing Rod Collection.(Thank God I'm on St Croix's Guide program) All the bows I shot were in the alpha class but the Dren just felt like an extension of me.

Switchback XT Shooter
The case is Plano's BowMax Pillar case. It has space for two accessory boxes on the front edge(comes with one). The are a great spot to keep tools, moleskin, extra serving, and the like. I'll be adding another and making a foam insert for it that will secure fixed blade broadheads and sharpening stones. The bow compartment secures the bow on a bed of eggcrate foam and utilizes 3 hook and look straps to hold it in place. Between the bow and hinge is a long narrow space that can hold what ever. The roof of the case securley holds a dozen arrows. It's also got two pillars that support the case from crushing. All in all a nice case thats not to expensive. My only gripe is that when you close it you have to make sure it lines up around the edges. It's minor and if they made it out of a stiffer plastic I think it would help.

Thanks for the compliments on the new setup. I hope this answers your questions.

Great setup. Looks like you're all ready to go. What kind of stabilizer is that?

The stabilizer is a carbon rod by Eastman. A good product at a great price.
