How Early?

Just curious how early everyone gets in there stand before daybreak. I like to get in about an hour before but usually it winds up being like thirty minutes before. I think an hour is plenty. Opinions??

Depends on which stand I am hunting, most of the time about 1 hour for daylight.

1.5 hours before daylight I leave the cabin, 30 minutes later I am to my stand.

I walk really slow because I am usually hung over from the night before.

GOD I LOVE DEER CAMP!

1.5 hours before dawn during the rut. 1 hr any other time. Have to beat the crowds on public land!

Sometimes as early as 30-45 minutes before daylight.

a few times maybe 15 minutes or so before daylight.

Seen deer on both time frames, BUT, I'd much rather get there early and let things settle back down.

Usually about an hour before. Depends on the stand, but sometimes it takes quite a while to get all the equipment up the tree and get the tree arm/camera all set up.
