do you have family in Kansas? I saw you were form KY and just wondered how you get to hunt those monsters in Kansas. He is a fantastic looking deer and the mount also looks great. Congratulations.

Thanks guys...yeah I'm really pleased with him. Great deer and while pretty (Thanks Joey) he was a real stud herding in about 10 does when I shot him Halloween night 06. The taxidermy work is great. I figured up 640 inches of antler in the den last night with 4 deer, I've been pretty lucky and blessed.
Huntingson...believe it or not my wife's family is from the exact same town I go to hunt, but I still end up paying to hunt. It's one of my absolutely must dos every year and unfortunately not cheap. So, the kids eat mac and cheese for a few months every year to allow dad to go to Kansas. Thank god, because it's the one place where I can leave everything behind and just enjoy.
