Just want to say hello...
 

I just wanted to say hello from MN. I am new to this board, so take it easy on me for a bit. ha, ha I have been reading this board for a little while now and have been very impressed with everyone's thoughts and knowledge on the sport of deer hunting(both with bow and/or gun). I have been bow hunting for only 4 years now, so there is a lot out there that I am very interested in knowing. I hope to get to know some of you here. Thanks, Stump

I grew up around New Prague on a dairy farm and now I live in Shakopee. I hunt in and around Lakeville, Prior Lake, Webster and Veseli(for deer atleast). Turkey, grouse and pheasants in different parts. How about yourself?

Stump,

I live in Roseville, hunt a bit around the metro here(MBRB). I also hunt up north near Warroad, and some down in Belle Plaine. Strictly bowhunting since '83.

Welcome aboard stump, you will love it here as long as you do not say anything about fixed or mech heads, which brand of bow is best, your views on QDM, or something about game preserves!! LOL Good group of folks here really, some, including myself can get opinionated on some subjects, but all share their knowledge.

Hello and welcome to the BEST hunting board on the net. I've been a member for a couple of months and really like it here. Lots of different opinions. I'm in my second year of bowhunting and live in southern Iowa where the biggins are! lol

I appreciate all of the kind responses!! Not to maybe bring up an issue that might already be dead but.....I congratulate all of who had a part in getting that guy fired from Drury for his illegal actions. It's those poachers and trespassers that gives us &quot;GOOD&quot; hunters a bad name and reputation. This year I had a stand ripped off of private property and also took down a stand that was on that same property. It sucks to think that a guy has to chain and lock a stand on his own property. Dang does that get my blood boiling!!! I don't think nor assume that the deer that are on my property are mine. All someone has to do is ask if they can hunt it and I'll let them. But don't think that you can just come on my land without asking, especially to put up a stand. Ok I have to quit before I get really mad(again).
