What makes an X bow better than a Y bow?

I went through the thread about which bow is most overrated. Thought it was interesting, but got me to wondering.

So whatqualities make one brand of bow better or the "best?"

It's all about the feel and what people like. Some like diet coke others original.

Ditto! Personal preference is a huge part. Another factor, I believe, is getting a bow that fits you individually and is within your ability to control.

For example, I see alot of people in league shooting bows at much too high of a draw weight. They can barely pull the bow back and shake like a leaf......and they wonder why they can't hit the broad side of a barn.
