Yeah, that is pretty bad to have the bums out there running around stealing stuff and even worse is on private property. Sorry to here about your loss.

I would try what TJF suggested, It's worth a try. Word travels fast and hopefully you will getyour stuffback soon. Maybe you can mention it to someone who may know this person you think it may be. Maybe tell them the other camerayou had wasa 35 mm camera and are just waiting to get the film developed. Good luck!

People like that give hunters a bad name. There is absolutely no respect for anyone's personal property, land or anything else anymore. The thieves probably are the same guys you hear talk that shot, "7 deer,4 yearlings, 2 button bucks and a four point." People like that like to kill just to brag about it. They are not sportsman and I have a hard time with everything they stand for.
I should say that not everyone is like that. The majority of us are true sportsman who are doing this for the right reasons, but a few bad apples make us look bad.

TJF, Good Idea. I think i'm going to try that! Luckily they didn't spot my other camera, not 60 yards from the stolen one.

My ULTIMATE fantasy is to walk up on a thief trying to get one of my cameras off ofa tree. I can guarantee you this, one of us will be leaving in an ambulance.

My ultimate fantasy does not involve any deer cameras, or any other men, or any ambulances. I was thinking something more along the lines of a field full of 200+" bucks, a whole bucketfull of arrowsand a busload of naughty playmates - maybe a swimming pool filled with jello, and a trampoline..and.... ok ... nevermind. hopefully they will be coming out with an affordable tracking device that can be activated to transmit a gps coord. Than just a matter of tracking the bum down.
Don't know if it's a cheap solution or even a feasible one but I wonder if one of the laptop LoJack units would be a feasible option.

It's a damn shame that we even have to consider things like this. [:@]
