Cable Guard Glide Installation - Hoyt

I have a 2002 Hoyt Magnatec. Today I bought a teflon cable guard glide, I am a little confused on the installation. I thought that I should have the longer slot in glide toward the rear of the bow (farthest from the grip). My owners manual says the opposite (the longer slot should be closest to the grip), unless the bow's an excel cam (I don't know what that is). The glide seems to fit best with the longer slot farthest from the grip. Can someone help. My bow is a 2002 Magnatec, single cam. Thanks.

the little book that came with your HOYTE should tell you what cam you have. If not ask the pro shop you got the bow from.

The little book that came with it is pretty generic and just has general information. I just thought that I if someone on this board had a 2002 Magnatec single cam, they could take a look at their bow and tell me how it's installed on theirs.

I have a 2002 MagnaTec with the single VersaCam. The longer slot on my bow faces away from the grip.
