Anyone hear of the ATC Action Helmet Cam?
 

My brother inlaw put me on to this. He saw it and said it works really well. I may have to look at this closer. It would be nice to velcro to your hat and film your hunts.

Sounds cool but how does it mount? Via a Strap? How much recording time can be stored on just 2GB of expanded memory? 30 minutes?

As far as I know recorded time is 1/2 hour as is. With memory card you can record 1 hour. I comes with strap and velcro to mount to a helmet, but I would guess you could find a better way to mount it to your hat.

I really don't see this as being very practical for hunting purposes. I just don't see how it would securely fasten to a hat.

It would not be stationary enough to take quality video and I certainly wouldn't want to wear a real helmet in the field.

I think it would work better if mounted on the bow or gun.That should be easy to fasten with a velcro strap and should be much easier to actually setup to see what you are shooting at.;)
