My Peace Offering....
 

Well Boys...I am back...kinda
Some of you might have known me as "Campo" in the past. As you might recall, I was banned about a month ago. While I still stand by my convictions and my beliefs, I want to say I am sorry for the following things.
1. I think the way I handled myself in my last two days on this site were a little childish. I think we can all understand though that when you get fired up and really pissed off, you can do things that in hindsight you will regret. I regret some of the things I said and some of the people I called out.
2. Though I still stand by some of the things I said, I realize that there is a need for SOME level of moderation. Without moderation, it would just be a slug fest here, and while I think some may be a little over zealous to hit the CTRl-ALT-DELETE buttons, I can respect the fact that you are "doing your job". Sometimes, you do things you dont want to do just because you have too.

That said, my apology goes out to those who I offended. Now, I DONTwant people to read this as, "We tamed this flamer"....Not true, I am still who I am, and I still believe in what I believe in, but, I am man enough to admit the way I went about it was stupid, and the things I said were, at times, overly critical. My peace offering has been made.

Hey Mods...anyway to get my old self (Campo) reinstated...it is going to take me FOREVER to getback to 1200 posts....?

Welcome back, I was actually in your neck of the woods a few weekends ago. I was visiting Oneonta a whie ago, and was in Andes for my hunting camps "winterfest"(aka beerfest and b.s.'ing). good to have ya back, see if you can still get in on the turkey teams, I'm sure Pat will just change Campo to Roninmp5.
