I could be wrong, and I’m sure someone will correct me on this, an by all means, please do. But, I’ve seen a lot of people talking about used tampons being good attractants for deer. It would seem like to me, that the best time to get a “sample” from a women, for the purpose of attracting any male animal would be during ovulation. This is the time where she is most fertile and would be ready to mate. The menstrual cycle represents an egg that didn’t get fertilized and the woman’s body is simply getting rid of the egg.

That said, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that for you guys who buy off on bucks not being able to tell the difference and becoming attracted to a female human’s hormones would be better off collecting urine at about the halfway point between menstrual cycles.

Am I wrong?

Baby wipes to wipe my butt (better than leaves!). Just make sure you put them in your coat 5-10 minutes prior to use. Otherwise they are COLD!

I HAVE USED TAMPOONS BEFORE BUT THEY WERE NOT PREVIOUSLY USED, THEY WERE NEW AND I PLACED DOEIN HEAT PEEON THEM. NEVER IN MY LIFE HADE I USED OR EVEN HEARD OF PLACING MY WIVES URINE ON A TAMPOON TO TAKE IN THE WOODS. BUT I'M SURE SOMEONE HAS TRIED IT, JUST LIKE I'VE HEARD GUYS URINATING IN SCRAPES. I GUESS IF IT WORKS FOR THEM.

I LIKE TO TAKE EVERYTHING TO THE WOODS WITH ME FROM RATTLE HORNS TO GRUNT TUBE AND EVEN TARSAL GLANDS OF ANOTHER BUCK TO DOE HAWKS. WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To get back on track...I would have to say a grunt tube and a set of horns.

Have to agree with all that, grunt tube-always useless, antlers--useless for me, and scent, etc, etc.. but I do carry a slate call even in the fall. And I am assuming that when a person hunts turkeys with a bow it is bowhunting..........? And I have actually had better luck with deers with a turkey call then any of the other stuff for deer.... someone has to really show me it works. Not from Missouri, but haven't seen anything to include scents, scent lock suits (seen more deer close up without scent lock then with) but got to prove it works.... I ain't convinced yet! [:'(]

Hold on... I've gone to my wife with some pretty crazy schemes - including drop off points and pick up points/times :eek:, but I can't imagine having the stones to say, "Hey babe, ahhhhh, don't throw that away, just put it in this baggie." WHOA!!!! That's some hillbilly sh*%! I actually saw one in the woods on a state tract last week, but I figured it was just someone's way of improvising a key style scent wik. You learn something every day.
