I put a set on my bow last year. I took them to a bow shop in the area and they were wow'd by them. So they must be good. I can't speak to the life of them becauseI've only had them one year.

Excellent quality, excellent customer service, and excellent people. I was very disappointed to find out that my shop doesn't carry them anymore. They have very good string life. I just replaced mine after 2 years and I shoot quite a bit. They didn't need replaced either, I just make sure to do it every 2 years.

I ordered a set for my Old Glory in red/blue, to match the logo. I should be able to put them on and shoot on Tuesday, and I'll be sure to report back.

Statjunk,
I've been using WC for a long time ,but here some guys talk about VT strings.
Can u tell me if and whythey are a better string in your opinion?

RE: Vapor Trail Strings?

Archer, I've used both WC and VT strings and cables. WC products are pretty hard to beat, but when it comes to quality the Vapor Trails are right up there. I would put both in the same league as far as quality. I prefer VTs because the price is a little lower and the people are great to deal with.

HB,
They (VT) claim to increase speed a little.
Have you noticed any increase?

That I have not heard, nor have I noticed a significant difference. The only way I could see a string and cables increasing speed from one to the other would be to have a lower strand count. The materials used today are so similar I can't see how two strings with the same count would be that much different.
