RE: Paper Tuning
bloodcreek Just shoot me a pm sometime.I stay on the go most of the time but I do help when I can. |
RE: Paper Tuning
That's some good info TFox. I would only add that I found putting a piece of masking tape on my rest and marking the starting point of where I go from getting it close with paper tuning and using the walk off method has help me tremendously. The markings on my rest begin to look the same after a few adjustments.

RE: Paper Tuning
ORIGINAL: Fieldmouse That's some good info TFox. I would only add that I found putting a piece of masking tape on my rest and marking the starting point of where I go from getting it close with paper tuning and using the walk off method has help me tremendously. The markings on my rest begin to look the same after a few adjustments. I have precision scales(rulers) that I use to measure the distance of the rest from an easily measured source. From the end of the shaft usually works well. |
