Im deffinetly not a mathews fan, hardly ever see one make a passthru in the hunting movies.
That's odd-of the three deer I've killed with my Legacy,of the deer I've killed with it the only one that wasn't a passthrough was one that I shot in the spine.

I've had plenty of pass thru shots with both my Mathews bows.

I too am waiting for my new Cardiac to show up next week.
I did get a CR331 in and the workmanship is awesome. Very nice bow!
I already have a Ben Pearson Z32(great bow)set up for me as my Pearson bow so I am going to hold out for the Cardiac for my Ross bow. I will shoot it and then decide on either it or a CR334

Im deffinetly not a mathews fan, hardly ever see one make a passthru in the hunting movies. I deffinetly dont like how skinny the drenaline's limbs are. Gotta love any off the ross's top quality and affordable.
Thats a new one on me also. I shot a Q2 for 4 years and shot 6 deer and a coyote and the all were passthroughs. I have had a Outback for 2 years and both deer with it were also Passthroughs. Never had a problem here.
I would like to find a Ross dealer around here and shoot one to feel it for myself. Sure sounds like some nice bows.

I'm not trying to knock Mathews so dont get me wrong. I just thought it was enteresting watching all the Monster Buck videos, most of what they shoot is Mathews and I would say the majority of shots are not passthroughs. I have no idea what kind of kenetic energy they are getting or anything like that. One more thing, I have yet to see a Mathews even come close to addvertised IBO speeds.

example
a guy was in last week and was under the delusion that his Bowtech Tribute was shooting 310-315 fps
thru the chrono = 252
To make him feel better I shot my Switchback and it was 238

I had a bowtech allegiance that shot a true 310 IBO, the birth certificate said it would shoot 312 thats close enough for me.

Probaly bought a fast bow and had no clue how to set it up for speed. Maybe short draw linkin logs for arrows. Who knows.

I am calling BS on that! Being from Idaho were we hunt a lot of big gamelike elkon a yearly basis and with working in a Mathews shop I have seen many many pass through shots on elk with Mathews bows. Next time why don't you think what you are saying before you post it.

One more thing, I have yet to see a Mathews even come close to addvertised IBO speeds.
Now you can say you have because here are some numbers for you. These bows were all set to 71 pounds, with 30" draws. I admit the Switchback and the XT are still a bit off from specs, but the Drenalin is right on. I did this test in awhile back, I had two different chronos to double check the speeds and I shot each arrow at least 5 times to come up with aaverage number.

2005 Switchback, with Loop, rad peep and string leaches installed
386 Gr. Lightspeed 400.....................................294 f/s
404 Gr. Bemon Black Max 400.............................286 f/s
450 Gr. Gold Tip XT 7595...................................277 f/s
525 Gr. Easton AC Super Slim 300........................257 f/s
640 Gr. Est Gamegetter II (full length) 2219...........235 f/s

2006 Switchback XT with loop rad peep and string leaches installed.
386 Gr. Lightspeed 400.....................................291 f/s
404 Gr. Bemon Black Max 400.............................283 f/s
450 Gr. Gold Tip XT 7595...................................273 f/s
525 Gr. Easton AC Super Slim 300........................255 f/s
640 Gr. Est Gamegetter II (full length) 2219...........232 f/s

2007 Drenalin with loop and rad peep installed.
386 Gr. Lightspeed 400.............................. ......309 f/s
404 Gr. Bemon Black Max 400.............................301 f/s
450 Gr. Gold Tip XT 7595...................................286 f/s
525 Gr. Easton AC Super Slim 300............... ........268 f/s
640 Gr. Est Gamegetter II (full length) 2219...........243 f/s

One last thing I am not bashing any other bows nownor do I EVER IN PERSON OR ON THE NET! Truth be known if I couldn't shoot Mathews then my next choice would be a Ross. IMO most ofthe major bow manufactures make a very good product these days.
