In response to the original question, it depends on which gear. I do buy plenty of clothing, and occasional binocular and some odds and ends from Cabelas. I buy my bows from the local archery shops as well as many of the accessories. I also occasionaly buy various odds and ends from Edersbow.

I would say 50% Sportsman's Warehouse 20% Bass Pro Shop, 30% local outdoor/archery shops. Proximity is one of the reasons I chose SW over Bp, and majority of my archery equipment comes from local shops.

Ussualy i order knives and that good stuff online and the rest at archery shops around town

Get a few things from all over. I compare prices and shipping and the cheapest is usually the way I go. So I spread it around a little.

75% Basspro and 25% Gateway Outfitters. As soon as Cabela's opens up in St. Louis I'll probably give them a big chunk of business also.

I get most all of my Archery gear from a local pro shop. If he doesn't have what I want I get it off of ebay.

Mail order all goes to Cabela's. Get all of my clothes and boots from them.
