Default To Dip, or to Wrap?

I am buying some new arrows, don't know wether I should dip them, or buy some high quality wraps. I am guessingif you use wraps, it makes redoing the fletchings easier. I would appreciate some input, pros and cons of both. Thanks for your time.

Simply not much of a reason to dip arrows these days. Wraps are far easier and more consistnet in both pattern and weight. I'd certainly opt for the wraps and wouldn't waste your time.

That is kind of what I was thinking. I just wanted to know if people had any durability problems with wraps or not.

If you are just going to dip them, wrap em. Much, much easier. And get them from onestringer. Awesome wraps and the best prices I have found anywhere.

Now, if you are wanting that custom crested look.....dipping and cresting is the way to go. The problem w/ dipping is when it comes time to refletch, and that time WILL come.....

I try to wrap it before I dip it but it is your choice. LOL

I would go with the wraps I just ordered some custom wraps from Onestringer and his prices are the best I have found.

Neither. I spray paint and then fletch. I tried the wraps and they were okay, but I like the custom paint job better. JMO.

Has any one tried to tape off the fletchings then spray. I don't have a fletching jig and thought I might try that?
I do like the looks of some of the wraps I've seen though! Maybe I'll check some past post on a easy but good jig!
