RE: Another black eye for bowhunters.....

Do any of you guys who have a problem with this raise, butcher and eat these types of birds?I do. Not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. Ever go into a coup to get one? I suppose it's much better to snatch one up, grab it by the legs, lay it on the block and chop it's head off with an axe.

This is nothing more than anti bowhunting crap trying to make people feel sorry for an animal shot with an arrow. Go a few rounds with one of these birds and you won't feel so sorry for them. Had to rescue my boy once from a very aggresive rooster.

Nothing wrong with shooting an animal YOU EAT with an arrow, nothing.I'm not throwing axes at birds in my yard to make things fair for the bird. They are restrained, by the feet. Bowhunting is a very ethical way to kill animals. NOT TORTURE! It aint supposed to be pretty.

I have mixed feelings about this one. One being that i agree with FM on most of it and agree with what some of the others were saying too. I was only disgusted by the fact that anti's would see these ''bowhunters'' as being blood thirsty hooligans when we obviously are not. I agree on the 'these people don't represent me as a bowhunter''.
