mounted quiver vs side or back quiver

How many of you have stopped using a mounted quiver and have gone to a side or back quiver? I've decided to make the switch for a few reasons. First being that I noticed that when I practice I never have arrows in my quiver. Which means that when I hunt I'm really not shooting the same set-up as practice. Second, I'm tired of my nocks getting messed-up or my arrows hanging on stuff because they stick past the end of the bow.

What side or back quiver would you recommend?

I have thought about switching a few times myself.
i think the back or hip quiver will still catch my arrows on plenty of stuff in the woods, maybe even more than while they are on the bow.
The other problem i see is if they do catch on a branch or vine while in a hip or back quiver then my whole body weight will be pulling against them, not just my bow arm.
Some of the places I hunt are pretty thick and you have to duck branches and stuff.
I still think that for hunting, it is best to have your arrows on the bow. Just my opinion.

I practice with all but one arrow in my quiver, on the bow. That way, it is exactly how my first shot in the woods will be.

I do agree, getting the nocks full of dirt is a PITA.

You'd think so with a hip quiver. I love mine. Switched last year. With a hip quiver I keep them tight against my body with my arm. Keeps me tight as well. It is also much better when in a stand. Just use the belt around the tree.

I gave it a season to see and I won't be going back to one on a bow.

After mounting my 2 piece on my Allegiance and looking at some more quivers I'm going ot go with the hip quiver. Thanks for both of your responses.
