trophy ridge rhino????
Guys just curious for any knowledge on the trophy ridge rhino guide series, im very interested in the sight, seems to have infinite adjustability, and i've read good things about them, so was just kinda curious what my fellow brothers thought about the sight, and was kinda curious about retail price also, any info is better than none even if its negative. thanks

RE: trophy ridge rhino????
Its a great sight especially if you like taking long shots. It is tough and built great but the pins are not bright enough to me. I like the Flashpoint for brightness. I also like theinline pins. I would also wait until the 07's come out unless those are the ones that you are talking about.

i have the titan v drive .019 and love that. although it is only one vertical pin, it is extremely easy to use, sight in, and adjust. I love it

RE: trophy ridge rhino????
I shot one this year and really liked it. The only problem was when i got in the double bull. With no light entering from the top of the blind it made it next to impossible to see your indivitual pins. I will be shootingSword Accusites from now on because they sponsor for us.
If you get the sights and hunt out of a blind a light for the sight would be a must... |
RE: trophy ridge rhino????
I've got a Rhino Guide and love it. I like the .19 pins better than the .29. They sell a light that screws into a threaded hole on the housing. It's about $15. The pins are pretty bright already but in low light or when I'm in a blind the light works great. The sight is top of the line and you wouldn't go wrong. Spot Hogg, Viper, HHA, Impact Archery, Toxonics and others also have nice sights that are just as good. I also like the vertical inline pins on the Trophy Ridges. I was used to the horizontal pins and when I first used a Trophy Ridge I wasn't sure if I liked it but after using them its what I prefer. I get a better sight on animals left or right. I may try another sight someday but it will have to be vertical pins.

RE: trophy ridge rhino????
I've hunted with the Rhino Guide Series and found it to be a great huting sight. I've used it for whitetail and turkey and have been very happy with it. I used the older generation Rhino as a hunting sight in '05 and then in '06 used mainlythe '06 TR Summit. I could have helped ya out with the '06 Rhino GS with the fiber cage design, I have a brand new one still sitting in the package that I would have sold for cheap. You'll love the sight! Good luck and good shootin'
