I think the answer is both.

Good:

Sharing of techniques.
Equipment get's discussed
Hunters rights


Bad:
Division of hunters
The keeping up withe Jones mentality leads to bad decisions.

I don't think that you can blame it on the internet it's the nature of the people that make it either bad or good. Some people just like to argue and they were that way long before the invention of the internet.

I haven't been here long, but I've seen more than a few "heated debates" (we'll call them that). I don't really think that there is any division caused by the internet. I think the division is caused by the people themselves. You'd have the same scenarios play out if everyone were talking in person. Perhaps some of the insults would be toned down if the other guy was sitting in the same room, though.

Al Gores invention of the INTERNET made it possible for all hunters to get their points of view heard .

Its just that the stupid ones seem so much more accomplishedat it. [:o]

I would agree because without this site or the internet I'd be lost. I just got into bowhunting and without the ability to ask people questions or looks at information online, I may not have started. I would also agree with the bad, thatsome people try to out do the next just to be better. Overall, its great.

This says it all! I think the internet is a good source of information! Its the people that ruin it! Some tend to be a different person while on the internet!
