Another '06' Mount
 

Hey guys, just picked up my 2006 bow kill this afternoon. He's not a giant by any means but he was definately a nice deer. He sure had alot of character due to the weird split on his left main beam. He sure has alot of grey hair in the face area. I believe he was a pretty old deer. He lacked tine length but was relatively heavy throughout his entire rack. Just wanted to share a few pics... ENJOY!!!!!

shoot dude, there is nothing wrong with that deer, good lookin animal. Looks to be a mature deer

Looks like a real nice buck , is that the one you entered in the bowhunting contest if so you sure got that back quick , congrats.

Yep, great looking deer, sure makes me wish I didnt have to wait until July to get mine back from the taxi.

Yep RD thats the same buck. I killed it on the 15th of Oct.

I've been anxious to see your mount. I remember you postin pics of your taxidermists shop and I must say, that is one of the best and most realistic mounts that I have seen to date. The muscle tone looks great as well as the ear and eye placement, very very nice. Congrats again on the buck, he is big enough plus he has some great character.

Good for you goherd1111 , he did a real nice job in that short of time.
I thought that I saw that buck somewhere :)
