No are you locking your knees up, because that will make them cramp after alengthly period of time.

no it only happen when i shot my first deer in 03 and at full draw on my first deer of my first season ( last year )

You probably had a lot of adrenline going through your system, diet also can cause that type of reaction.That is my thoughts.

It is definitely adrenaline!! The strangest thing used to happen to me. Whenever the first deer of the season started coming my way, I would get a pain in my lower back that almost had me in tears. It felt like a knife jabbed in my back! Has'nt happened in a couple years though, Thank God.

yup it hurts but it dont happen any more. i remember when i first drew on my first deer i was so bumped i could just move my arms a little bit if felt like they were 300 lbs.

Do you stretch when on stand? If not then thats the reason. I always stand up and stretch my legs and arms while on stand just to keep them loose so they don't cramp up. Try sitting still for 4 hour and then pulling a bow back, it will be MUCH tougher than if you stretch and keep your muscles loose and active while on stand.
