What is the difference
I have been into archery for around 2 years. I have tryed a few different brands and types of fletchings like blazers and most 4 inch vanes. But all have been Parabolic. What I am trying to ask is what is the difference between parabolic and sheild cut. I know the difference in shape but does it make any diffenece in flight what is the reason for the shape. I have been looking a Bohnings X-VanesI will put the link up below.

RE: What is the difference
I've used both parabolic cut, and shield cut, feathers. I didn't notice any difference at all, but the shield cuts sure do look better...;)

RE: What is the difference
Do you think that I can get enough control out of the Bohning X-vane 2.25 inch sheild cuts. I am going to be using them for some 3d and mostly hunting with a G5 striker.
