RE: Blazer vanes lose of accuracy
Blazer vanes are taller than some of the older low profile vanes. That's what makes them work. Not to mention they are also stiffer... So there is geater chance of fletching contact... and if contact is made they won't fold out of the way like softer fletchings will.
They should be fletched at an offset.
I personally had some fletching contact issues whenI first went to Blazers.. and to do a little bit of adjusting to get them to clear. But with that all taken care of.. I absolutely love my Blazers.

As w/ any vane , you need an offset or helical fletch for accuracy.
You defeat the purpose of them if they aren't fletched that way.
I fletch my blazers w/ about a 4 degreeoffset and they shoot a fixed blade bhw/ field tips at 45yrds.

one more thing they are straight, the 4" vanes were 3 degree right offset. What do most people do when they fletch there blazers? straight, or offeset if so how much?

Offset or helical is not the problem in this case.I have shot many straight vanes less than 2" long in competition and with great results.However,I do prefer offset or helical ESPECIALLY with broadheads.
Are you shooting a whisker bisuit.The stiff bristles might be the difference because the Blazersare probably stiffer than what you were shooting.
There may have been contact before and the Blazers are magnifying the problem because they are stiffer.

Let's, shall we?
Back to back;
Forground, Blazer.
Background, Durvane.
Its an optical illusion, my friend. Blazers are no taller than any other vane on the market.
