today i was shooting my bow, i decided to strip the plactic vanes off an arrow, and put feathers on it, i just used some glue from a glue gun, i used chicken feathers, just cut them somewhat the shape of a vane, then shot the arrow, not the was the FASTEST, STRAIGHTEST shhoting arrow i have every shot from that bow, i was wonderin if i could buy arrows with not vanes on them from a local store?by the way i have pictures of these vanes i made if anyone wonders what they look like

Sure you can do that just ask your local shop to order you some bare shafts. Sure post those pics up!
