Best sub-100grain broadhead
Ruminating over what would be the best selection(s) for me. I shoot a Parker Buckshot, set at 50lbs for hunting. Arrows are 35/55 Goldtip Hunter Xt's. I'm kinda leanin' towards 85grain Magnus stingers.:)

Shoot the 100 gr. muzzy has 1 3/16 dia.

RE: Best sub-100grain broadhead
The Stingers would be PERFECT out of your set up. They are a wicked sharp cut on contact head which will aid in penetration. They also fly like darts. IMHO, yer not going to do any better. You may find one equal to....but not better. Couple that with an unconditional lifetime warranty......You've got a solid winner.

85 grain Slick Trick, however I shoot the 125 grain..

RE: Best sub-100grain broadhead
Cabelas has the 85 gr. stingers on sale for 9.88.

RE: Best sub-100grain broadhead
85 Grain Slick Tricks would be my vote, but you can't go wrong with stingers either.... IMO

RE: Best sub-100grain broadhead
I have only shot the 85 grain thunderhead. Have always had good penetration and they have held up very well.
Great broadhead....IMO crutch |
RE: Best sub-100grain broadhead
85 grain Slick Trick, however I wouldn't back up from an 85 grain 4 blade Stinger either. I'm going to set mydaughter up with the Slick tricks though.

RE: Best sub-100grain broadhead
Those Slick Tricks do look intriguing. Steel ferrule, small blades. Looks like they would penetrate like crazy. That's what I'm looking for.:) But I do know the Stingers fly quite well for me. Decisions, Decisions.

The 85 slick trick . I shoot the 100 and they fly awesome exactly like a field point

RE: Best sub-grain broadhead
If its under 100 grain that you want, the Muzzy 90 grain is a head that I have used for years. Never had problems with arrow flight or penetration.

RE: Best sub-grain broadhead
i shoot 85 grain g5 montecs.

RE: Best sub-grain broadhead
I would go with a cut on contact, like the Stingers. I love my slicks and don't plan to switch any time soon, but with the lower poundage, cut on contact is a better option!
