Hand warmers
 

Do any of you know where i can get those hand warmers that have a metal disk in one corner of a "pouch",you just flex the disk and the clear liquid inside turns to a white gel like substance??When the pouch cools down you just boil it for a few minutes till it is clear again and it's ready to use again.I would really like to find a source of these things,i can't find them up here(ontario)Thanks Bill

I'd recommend a hand muff, no chemicals or anything, just real warmth. I heard that the discs can get hard and not heat.

Jeff;I use them in conjunction with my hand muffs.i have had them do what you say they do but only after they have been re-activated 25/30 times or more.Do you know a source of them?Thanks Bill

My Walmart has then on clearance right now, to get rid of this years hunting products, marked down to $3.00 even. ~Ben

I've used hot hands all season. the kind you shake. They stay warm and last a long time. I just ordered hand muffs for my son and I because the morning temps are really getting brutal. The are only $1 something a pair.

Hey THWACK -

I just bought one of those muffs last night & tried it out this AM in -5 windchill - ambient was 6.
That thing is fantastic man! Wow - toasty warm. I was able to use my super thin half gloves & was even able to have the bow release inside keeping warm as well.

Would not trade it for anything. I'd say that it'll keep my ahnds warm down to at least -20, perhaps more. Question is - do I want to hunt in -20?
