RE: Has anyone ever heard of Noel Feathers

Heres' one for ya.Back in 91' I went bear hunting at Kellys Lodge in New Brunswick. When we arrived we learned that Noel was in camp and had arrived a few days before us.On the day we got there we were told that Noel had hit a bear onthe evening before our arrival.Noel and the guides were just returning from looking for the bear when we got into camp on our first day. When they returned they introduced us andtold us the story behind the hunt. They also said they searched all morning but were unable to locate the bear( The owners of Kellys are great people and will bust there butts to find your bear,so nothing against them). Here is where it gets good;two days into our hunt I bowkilled a respectable bear and hung it on the meatpole at camp. The next day I was told by Noels camerman that while I was out helping the guides and other hunters,Noel took my bear off the meatpole, dragged it into the woods behind the camp lodge and filmed Noel "recovering" his(my) bear;blending it into the original shot footage he had from the lost bear.He then hung the bear back on the pole.Later that day I saw the footage with the cameramanand just shook my head in disgust.I still remember Noel saying on the filmthat he had just bowkilled his 48th black bear.
