My best set up may not necessarily be your best set up.

What works and feels right for me may not necessarily work or feel right for you.

Visit a pro shop and determine there what is going to work best and feel best to you.

The advice that I would give in this situation would be to: research on the bows that you plan on looking at, if you have any in mind. Read reviews on the bows and the equipment such as the rest, sights, etc. After you have a few ideas in your head go to your pro shop and shoot some bows and tell the staff how much you are willing to spend and take it from there.

If money was no object I would own a Merlin.

Everyone's perfect set-up is gonna be differant.Mine changes depending on what I want to hunt with that particular day.One day it'll be my 50# longbow, the next it could bemy 59# longbow--or 54# or 48# or 56#.Go shoot some bows and you'll know what is right for YOU.
