What is the farthest shot you feel comfortable taking at a deer?
 

Since we have this post about the 103 yard shot with a bow on a deer, what is the farthest shot ya'll personally feel comfortable taking? I won't shoot over 30 yds at a deer. Takes a little discipline, but I don't feel comfortable past that distance.

35 yards, if it's farther, I would not feel comfortale taking that shot. I have had some very close instances, but always go with the gut feeling.

I feel pretty good at 40yds, but it has to be good circumstances, meaning NOT windy, deer NOT moving, clear shot, no other deer to alert the soon-to-be table fare.

depending on how condfident of personyou are, going with the gut feeling could be a bad thing. Everyone knows someone who has that "Superman" mentallity.

I have my pins set at 250, 500, and 1,000 yards.

I voted 35 yards. I have yet to have and take a shot even at that distance and all opportunities have been closer, but I still feel confident with a good presentation to take at 35 yards.

I have 1 20 yard pin, and have shot all my deer inside 20 yds.

Why would anyone need more than 1 20 yard pin? 2 20 yard pins would just seem redundant.
