Design Flaw?

Well as many of you know ive had problems out of my browning, im now on my 3rd one. 1one, the limb cracked, 2nd one string broke and blew up on me, and this one, my 3rd, the string is doing the same thing the 2nd one did. The serving is fraying. What should I do? i dont want them to send me another one exactly like it only to have it happen again, and i cant afford to eat the money. Its on ebay right now so i guess ill make a decision if it doesnt sell....

A.) why I don't buy on ebay.
B.) gibblets servings don't come undone like others.

He really does build a good string! Hope things work out.

You may have some spurs on your cams, and thats why the strings are fraying. Bring the bow to your proshop and have them check that out, then order a string from gibblet. Also, did you list your bow as having string problems? If not you should.

Yeah, I would list that it has the serving coming undone. Definately get an aftermarket string, either from Giblet or a company. Factory strings are usually just fine, but sometimes that happens due to the fact that they really aren't focusing on the string, but the bow. Good luck!

Where axactly is the string fraying? Is it a release issue? COuld be alot of things but without more info it would be hard to diagnose. Beside checking to see if there is a spur on the cam, check to see if the cams are leaning. Is the string coming into contact with something....clothing, arm gaurd? Keep it liberally waxed also. I have used some strings for several years with an application of string wax and a piece of leather to work it into the string.....rub the heck out of it helps heat up the wax and it penetrates the string.
