I hate when work screws up hunting
 

How about this little 6 point 15 minutes before season is over? I had to travel and miss the last days of the season.

Sorry if you thought it was mine. It wasn't. It was one of my friends who I would have been hunting with if I had time. I got way to busy this month. The good news is he told me there were plenty left for next year. He's a pretty buck for sure. Not a shooter in the area during the rut season but the end of the season and a tag to fill why not? I just wish I could get have gotten out.

Dude, are you kidding.
Look at Washington Hunter and I...I know I got most of my best hunting done while I was in college. Granted, my college was in the middle of the Catskill Mountains, and I lived in a cabin that was literally 50 yards from my treestands..still, all those breaks in the fall and early winter are great for the hunting.

You guys think college gets in the way... try kids. The good news is that they are worth it... usually.

Fieldmouse, bucks like that always make me think of when Joe Blow asks guys like your buddy, "How many points did he have?" Yeah, that is how to tell how big a buck is ;)He may not be a shooter to you in November, but I say it is a really nice buck.

Try full time college, full time work, wife and a 2 year old to get in the way. ;)

I'm not complaining, just bringing things into perspective.

You guys in college have it great. . .not much responsibility besides maybe a job and some homework.

Like Campo said, it is the best time to get some great hunting in.

Remember this for college. You can always retake a class but you can never relive a hunt!
