RE: wounded doe part 2
Ican't see anything(wound) its way too dark.
I thought you said you hit her real low. So either its a different deer, or a real good example that your eyes can play tricks on you when you shoot a deer. If you hit here in the center of the box, you need to either practice more, rethink your shot selection or change your aiming spot. You need to hit her about 6" or so back from there. |

i thalt i hit her low but i could get my eyes checked. i miss judge the distances i'm not happy with the shot i practice every day so that's not it
look very close it's a small pink dot |
RE: wounded doe part 2
PB29, that deer looks to me like it may be a buck. See that patch of fur under its belly just ahead of its back leg? Maybe a different deer than the one you thought?
|
RE: wounded doe part 2
i don't think so because in a different she has babys with her and the back leg explains why she didn't run away

RE: wounded doe part 2
Well I missed Wounded doe part one so I'm kind of lost. My first thought was it could be a buck too. But at any rate, you didn't shoot low, you shot too far forward. Looks like you hit the shoulder blade to me. What did you do, find part of an arrow? Broadhead may still be in her shoulder bone, but she's up and feeding.

RE: wounded doe part 2
that deer aint hit it looks like it rubbed up against a fence or something
|
RE: wounded doe part 2
if you hit that deer you hit her way to far forward and a bit high.
