Broadheads

I'm new to archery and was wondering what broadheads i should get if i plan on hunting turkey deer and elk? I've heard that mechanicals are less reliable.

A LOT of bowhunters have been really pleased with Slick Tricks. Almost all find that they group right with their field points with no tuning beyond good field point tuning, out to distances as far as you'd care to shoot. The first time I shot one it was in the center of my group (I shot it first) at 50 yards, and I am only afairly good shot. Many have testified to their killing success; many have used the same head and BLADES with only a sharpening for more than 8 deer. If you aren't happy with them they will refund your $ with no questions asked. www.slicktrick.net

Crimson Talons are good broadheads except the curved razors break after you smoke a deer with one. I love Montec's. They are a lil more pricey but you can use them over and over. I have seen someone shoot it through a 50 gal. metal barrel then use it to kill a deer that evening without sharpening. You can also sharpen them if you feel the need to... BADASS Broadheads!

Can't go wrong with Slick Tricks. I converted to them a couple of years ago.
