Nobody said anything about being forgiven!:D I was @ the range yesterday & I'll have to say that when my friend shot his Guardian, all I herad was "whit" & then WHACK! when the arrow hit.

davidmil, what is the A-A on the Guardian? Will it fit a 30" draw with release? I've always prefered bows to be at least 37"+ A-A for me to shoot with a release. I like long risers for stability too. The Guardian sounds like a good bow.

Thanks

Guess I have been shooting junk all these years with my Switchback. It hardly got an honorable mention lol. Nice review.

Greg, the Guardian is probably on the short side for you to be comfortable with, 33 3/4. The Commander is 37 1/4 or something like that. It woud be perfect for your preferences. Len decided on a Commander for him for the same concerns you voiced. It's an absolutely wonderful bow. With your draw lenght you'd have the extra few fps that I wanted with my short draw. I'm content to be flinging a 450 grain arrow at 265 fps. I'll get a little more than that as I'd probably peak it out nearer 70 ounds than the 65 we tested at. With your draw length you'd be up in the 270s if not 280 with a heavy arrow out of the Commander. I forget what it is.. but only a few fps between the two bows, 10 fpsIBO I believe. The commander is rated at something like 310-318 while the Guardian is in the 20s.

David, Great review! I too have to get a Gaurdian after shooting it. I don't need a new bow I already have 2 great bows, but my vacation check will have to be spent on this new Bowtech.:D

Great review. I wonder how a Guardian would compare speed wise to my 60 lb Equalizer at 26 1/2" DL ?
